Manage Your Munch
Online: 7 Day Food Diary
Lose weight and feel great without giving up your naughty-but-nice treats!
Most diets and weight-loss programmes focus on rules, restriction, and willpower, which is why they fail. Manage Your Munch takes a different approach, we don’t tell you what you can and can’t eat. Instead, we identify the eating, behavioural, and lifestyle patterns that may be holding you back and highlight small, realistic changes that can make a meaningful difference.
No pills or potions, no giving up your treats, no salad or calorie counting, just clear, personalised insight to help you take control, lose weight, and maintain your results with confidence.
What It Is
Manage Your Munch (MYM) is not a diet plan. It is a personalised analysis of your weight-loss goals, normal eating habits, lifestyle, and daily routines.
You don’t have to buy different food, give up your favourite treats or use supplements. Manage Your Munch is a real solution, designed for real people living real lives.
How It Works
You record everything you eat and drink over seven consecutive days, following your usual routines. There’s no need to change what you eat or make any special effort. We analyse your food diary alongside your lifestyle, then provide a personalised tweak sheet with small, realistic changes you can apply straight away.
How It Helps
Losing weight is influenced by many factors, including stress, time, lifestyle and everyday demands. These affect us all differently, which is why traditional weight-loss methods often fail. MYM takes a personalised approach that reflects how stress impacts how you feel and what you eat.

What the Evidence Tells Us
We don’t want to bore you to death with endless facts and figures so have deliberately selected a handful of data from trustworthy sources to show data relevant trends from 2022–2023.
Our data sources are listed at the end of this section, we encourage you to explore them further if you’d like a deeper understanding of the long-term weight challenges facing the UK.
Key Weight-Loss Trends in the UK (2022–2023)
In a nutshell, the evidence tells us, traditional methods of losing weight such as working out in the gym and taking weight-loss supplements are not working.
Despite more money being spent, UK adults are getting fatter and sicker.
Why Your Past Weight-Loss Attempts Have Failed
Traditional approaches to weight-loss such as rigid diets, calorie counting, extreme exercise plans and quick fixes fail in the long term because they overlook the real issue:
Weight-loss does not happen in isolation from everyday life
Changes in eating habits, whether weight-gain, weight-loss, emotional eating or loss of appetite, are often linked to periods of stress, low wellbeing or ongoing pressure. For many people, food becomes a coping mechanism rather than a conscious choice, which is why willpower-based approaches often fall short.
Alongside a basic understanding of nutrition, the key to losing weight (and keeping it off) is understanding your personal habits, triggers and lifestyle patterns and how they influence your choices over time.
This understanding is at the heart of the Manage Your Munch process.
And this is why it works.

A New Way Forward
Manage Your Munch is not a diet plan or a set of rules to follow. It’s different from traditional weight-loss approaches because it works in two distinctive ways:
Education
We don’t tell you what to eat, when to eat, or what to cut out. Instead, MYM helps you understand how your everyday life, including stress, routines, habits and preferences, influences your weight-loss goals.
Guidance and support
With a clear understanding of your goals and personal habits, we can suggest small, realistic tweaks that help you achieve those goals, without major lifestyle changes or giving up the foods and drinks you enjoy.
Why Manage Your Munch Actually Works
In alignment with our RISE philosophy, MYM is an effective weight-loss tool because it supports the elements required for true long term change:
Four Factors Influencing the Weight-Loss Process

Education

Independence

Achievement

Sustainability
MYM teaches basic, relevant nutritional concepts to support your everyday food choices. This understanding puts you back in control of what you eat, allowing you to make dietary decisions that align with your weight-loss goals.
Understanding your goals and how your triggers and behaviours affect your eating habits helps you stay focused, even during stressful and challenging times. This builds confidence and reduces reliance on rigid plans or external rules.
MYM is built around your own data, habits and lifestyle. This means recommendations are personal, realistic and flexible, allowing you to apply them to your everyday life in a way that feels manageable and stress-free.
Unlike traditional dieting, which achieves short-term results through restriction, MYM takes a long-term approach. There are no banned foods or rigid rules, so you can enjoy what you love without guilt, deprivation or cravings.
